Now I disagree that all of Haiti's problems will disappear if they embrace Christianity, but I don't believe that Christianity has a color you just added that because that is what you wish so hard that he meant.

You know... I have watched this video several times, and I am missing where he directly attributes the earthquake to a deal made with the devil. Maybe I am just being obtuse, but he doesn't actually say that. He said, the Haitians made a deal with the devil to oust the French, and have had problems ever since. He goes on to cite the neighboring Dominican Republic, who are thriving economically, living in much better conditions, etc.
I don't know what "deal" he is talking about, I don't know much about the war with France, and I certainly don't defend anything Robertson has to say, but can we at least be honest about what is said, when there is video evidence?

I'm checking around. The quote immediately after Katrina was ""This is the second time in a row that God has invoked a disaster shortly before lesbian Ellen Degeneres hosted the Emmy Awards." (she hosted in 2001, as well).
I also remember him noting that Ellen was from New Orleans.
God keeps trying to smite that woman, but He's been really off the mark...
