There appear to be two issues.
1. Rape
2. Abortion.

Rape is illegal. Let your police handle it.
Abortion is up to the individual. Let the government impose absolute limits then allow women to make up their own minds.

Neither of these issues is a matter of party politics in any civilised society. Every time I see you buffoons arguing the toss about naff all I am convinced that you belong to the most insane nation that has ever existed.
This isn't a dig at republicans or those you call liberals (but who are not). This is a comment about 300 million people who have completely lost the plot.
You are mad.
You have a presidential election looming. The important factors in your decision making should be your economy and your foreign policy.
By discussing the lunacy of Akin or the rank stupidity of others of that ilk you are allowing the mega rich and powerful to, quite literally, get away with murder.
You are ALL, every man, woman and child (and because you are america, those in between) as mad as hatters.
 
I know and agree. It makes me sad and angry. I, however, don't think every one of us is mad.

holy crap, I agree with you on this, with the exception of it's only about 280 million. 20 million of us are still sane and just want our freedom back.

Except STY is talking about Texas and seceding from the rest of the US. Which the rest of us have no problem with and are just trying to help them along. You know, deal with the spelling of some of the longer words and trying to write their declaration in something besides crayon.

while secession would work for Texas, there are too many morons in this state to deal with afterwards. Namely in Austin and Dallas. However, the 20 million I was referring to are the Libertarians across the country that aren't evangelical idiots. But you keep on keeping on with the establishment agenda of Libertarian demonization and maybe you'll get some scraps from their table in a few decades. k?
