About 10 - 12 million less on food stamps. Gas prices where I live about $1.75/gallon. Less on welfare handouts. A national debt just slightly above half what it is now.

I remember all that. Apparently you think more on food stamps, welfare, higher gas prices, and a $19 trillion debt is better.

We were losing close to a million jobs a month when Obama took over. No one was hiring. The DOW average was cut nearly in half. Both the banking & auto industries were on the verge of complete failure.

'90's/Clinton - amazing economy. Bush years - near-historic crash. Obama years - economic rebuilding.

Why should we ever trust Republicans with the economy again?

If you're worried about the debt, you should be terrified of Trump. He has proposed massive spending, and a massive tax cut. That's not good math.

It's interesting because of course the rage furbies claim Hillary is vindictive (well, aren't all women?). Tim Kaine backed Obama very early in 08. Hillary "gets back at him" by choosing him as her VP.

They are all full of shit and project their own bad character traits onto Hillary, and everyone else too. Trump is unstable and will have an enemies list a mile long. He's also a threat IMO to a free media.

I call bullshit on the gas prices. Early bush presidency had great gas prices. Late bush was atrocious, until right when Obama got elected. Gas prices have almost nothing to do with the president anyway.

???...that is not true.....gas prices were high until Bush issued an executive order permitting expanded domestic production......gas prices plummeted and stayed low until Obama rescinded that order the first week after his inauguration.......prices immediately began to climb again.......
 
So in other words, I'M CORRECT. Yes he issued the e.o. BECAUSE prices were atrocious. He issued that order around the time OBAMA GOT ELECTED.

Prices continuously rose throughout Bush's presidency AND Obama's presidency until somewhat recently. Funny how gas prices work, huh?

When Bush left office, gas prices were $1.75/gallon where I live. They went back up quickly under Obama. Funny how the left forgets that they did go down before Bush left office, blaming him for how high they were earlier, yet refusing to place any blame on Obama when they went back up.

several wrongs do not make a right.......you claimed prices were high when Obama took over.......they weren't.......they did NOT rise consistently during Bush's presidency......and they went DOWN because of action that Bush took and went UP because of action that Obama took......that disproves EVERYTHING you were trying to claim in your post......

in the US, gas was high in June, then Bush issued an executive order permitting domestic production.....by December the price had dropped to $1.59......the week after his inauguration Obama rescinded that order.....watch how prices began to climb immediately....

It is currently down to 2004 levels, with economic recovery.

I didn't say EIGHT YEARS AGO. I said when Bush left office and referenced where I live not the national average. I looked at your chart and where I live, because I pay based on where I live not the national average, exactly 8 years ago today, it was $3.70.

I didn't disagree with what you said because you're a Liberal. I disagree because based on what I said, you were WRONG. You're problem is that you think because you're a Liberal, people should agree with you.

It didn't go over $4 where I lived.

The price went back up under Obama despite claims of economic recovery. Is Obama to blame for that? When they started to come back down, do you also blame Obama like you did Bush for a slack economy? No you don't. To you the white person is to blame but the black person is not at fault. Racist.
