She paid in, she has degenerative disk disease. I play tennis not her. She can sit in a kayak for two hours or a desk for 4 but not all day! I'm pleading with her not to work though. We can squeak by on dividends.

I said some of my neighbors hate me because I tell it like it is. Most like me because I tell it like it is. And I have plenty of friends to drink with, play poker and ski with, and my wife's freaking beautiful. I don't have to economize. BTW Dude, when I bought the Bimmer the finance gal, late 20's hottie, told me that she hadn't seen a credit rating that high before. Then I laid a check on her desk for 20 grand for the down payment, easy cash from a recent bonus plus re-payment of a loan to one of my businesses. Then she knocked off 9 for the trade, a thousand better than I was offered anywhere else. The rest I financed because the interest rate was 0.9%, basically free money.

Most rich people I know own less pretensive vehicles. Usually it is either the very rich or those who are massively in debt that drive the Lexus or the brand new Jag.
 
It's a fact rolled out in the millionaire bible " the millionaire next door". Excluding the super rich the difference is millionaires are frugal. They drive 4 yr old American cars, don't live in the biggest houses or take European vacation. They don't buy expensive suits, Rolex watches and have frugal wives. And the big key, they invest about 20 percent of income.

It's easy to get a 750 or so credit rating by paying all your bills on time. It's a trick though to get it to 850 out of a perfect 900. I figured out how and now I snap my fingers and the lenders come running, throwing money at me.

Sounds like that dude is jealous. 3 million copies is not bad. The critic is weak as hell. Next door author is a PHD and laid out facts about millionaire traits. Some pussy doesn't like it doesn't it his higher flying taste. That's the point.

It's to academic for you or him. For me as an accountant and MBA it was a convenient play book.
