My point was that a more constructive use of affirmative action is hiring minorities by recruiting the very best (Microsoft). It does not have to involve lowering qualifications.

About 1,000 blacks got a perfect 800 on SAT math. I don't know any of their names--maybe Jamal Einstein.

You don't know if it is a lie or not because you have no clue about the number of blacks, whites, and Asians made an 800 SAT on math.

It did not come off the wall and I did not lie. It is from SAT report data.

There are far more honor students in high school than there are slots in elite universities. Getting a 4.0 and high SAT score is no guarantee a top school will take you these days. (Of course there has been massive grade inflation but that’s a separate story.)

Think I saw USC, for example, is around $72K/yr all in. That’s crazy. That’s over $100K pre tax. But (some) people will pay anything to get kids into these top schools.
