And....anyone can purchase a car and use it as a weapon of mass destruction as just evidenced. That's the way freedom and liberty work, only criminals lose their natural rights of freedom and liberty. The righteous are never punished because the 1% criminal element with premeditation used that freedom to KILL via the use of LEGAL "Objects". What would you suggest...punish the 99% moral population that uses tools the correct way? That sounds kind'a FASCIST to me.

The only tried and true method to keep and maintain the peace? You must continually sue for peace by staying prepared for WAR. Or as we used to say in the military "Si vis pacem, para bellum" The last unit I served in used the motto, "prepared anytime". You never gain true and lasting peace through a demonstration of weak assed appeasement...you only show your hesitance to use force were force might be required to protect the existing peace.

Cars are a means of transport that, like sky-scraper windows, can be used to kill. Guns are for no other purpose whatever, and in civilised countries most people don't have them for that reason. FYI: This nation was constructed with the use of GUNS as anything but weapons. Guns were used during the 1st 150 years to provide food. Now they are used to protect freedom and liberty from the other IDIOT civilized nations that have each averaged 6 violent revolutions over the same period of history this nation used one 8 page document as standard of jurisprudence....and GUNS to protect the public safety from criminals.....those other (wink, wink) civilized nations seeking social justice through disarming their populous?
