The other day, Obama said the first he heard of the IRS scandal was when watching the news and when we all learned of it. Looks like he lied.

Now I sure hope that the NY Times is a "legitimate" news source for the Obama sycophants. Who can tell these days?

So we have only two conclusions. Either Obama is lying or he is an incompetent boob. Of course they aren't mutually exclusive, but the story they are peddling is that he is incompetent and doesn't have a clue as to what is going on in his administration.
 
Looks like the tip of the iceberg is barely showing....Miller made a fool of himself at todays hearing and his arrogance was astounding....the lying and obfuscation
when answering questions was hard to watch without wanting to yell at the TV.....

The guy is a complete tool. I hope the American people are as engaged as they need to be. Unfortunately don't rule out the GOP fucking things up. They have Obama by the nut sack. They don't need to talk about impeachment. They just need to hammer him with hearings, stall legislation and pick up majorities in the House and take back the Senate in 2014. Then Obama is effectively neutered for his last two years.

Never underestimate the GOPs ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

He never got a chance to answer questions, they kept cutting him off and demanding he answer yes or no when the answer was more complicated.

A real sham, as are most Congressional hearings.

Bet they won't be issuing anymore subpoena's for him anymore. :0)

why would anyone be surprised that Obama doesn't know what's going on.......from what I have seen that should be our starting assumption....

I saw something the other day that apparently Obama finds out a lot of things "from the news at the same time we did". I will have to see if I can find it. It is pretty striking how he has the same playbook over and over again.

I always know Obama is about to lie because he starts of a sentence with "Now, let me be clear"

All the more reason for independent counsel. Whatever one thinks of Congressional hearings, the same is true of 'administrative reviews.' This issue is too big for either.

These things do not rise to the level of needing an independent counsel at this point, in my opinion. Besides, an independent counsel can also be a farce, case in point, Ken Starr.

IMO, all three do. Two are directly concerned with first amendment issues. The other, a possible corruption case involving national security.

If he didn't know, then there is still a serious problem and heads need to roll.

It's a much larger problem that just the day to day stuff.
 
Doesn't performing an investigation trying to ensnare a particular target delegitimize the process? Why should I trust the results of an investigation with such impure motivation. Talk about statistical bias. If one is searching the globe for blue skies, one will find them, if grey, one will find them. Garbage in= garbage out.
