The EPA wouldn't even clean up a spill they created in the Animas river in Colorado. I'm pretty sure they aren't asking the EPA for help, they want them to actually test the creek and maybe do their actual job. This company needs to clean up this site, and they need to do it now. While they are cleaning up the site they need to ensure these folks have somewhere safe to live. Stop trying to say everything is safe when even a child can see that it isn't.
The EPA has been there since day 1. The cleanup should be the railroad's problem.

Merck knowingly put out a pharma product that had definite mortality rate about 30 years ago...same results as above.

When the smokes clears and SOME money is shelled out, the rail companies responsible for the lobbying to keep the status quo that lead to this mess will NOT suffer criminal prosecution of it's management....much less an entire change in it's personnel structure from top to bottom. Both political parties are responsible for not doing their job and holding these people fully accountable.
