I may be wrong but I believe the NSC is also responsible for reviewing publications involving the WH to ensure nothing is classified prior to release.

That's the reason why the manuscript was sent over to them a month ago -- for review. Stuff leaks despite the best efforts. Years ago a friend in Alaska emailed me a copy of the manuscript of a tell-all book about $arah Palin months before it was published. It was "The Lies of $arah Palin."

Or this could very easily be a maneuver to get Joe and Hunter Biden to testify under oath. Guess we will see how this plays out.
 
ITs perfect that the book comes out just at the start of the general election season, other bombshells will put huge pressure on ReTrumplicans who hid the evidence of Trump's crimes.
