The MAGAscum candidates are doing well in the primaries because the hard right base is coming out in force for them against the more moderate Republican voters.

But it's somewhat doubtful that very many sane, moderate conservative Republicans are going to vote MAGA in general elections, thanks to Trump and what he's put us all through.

They are sick of Trump's drama and baggage, too.

Many could possibly even decline to cast a vote in races where MAGAscum vs a Democrat is their only choice.

What we may be seeing here, is the seeds being sown for Democrat wins in places they normally wouldn't.
