you folks are rather odd.......first, it is illogical to believe that Trump, even before he was president, was involved in the hiring of individuals to change the sheets in one of his hotels....second, it is even more illogical to think he's doing it WHILE he is president......third, you have once again ignored the difference between a legal immigrant and an illegal immigrant.......

Trumps company policy was to hire illegals to save labor costs. He was doing it for decades. The reason it arose now is because they figured out their policy was coming public and they wanted to prevent the public from knowing about even more Trumpian hypocrisy. Too late.

I'll have to check with Washington Post's lie count. He should be up to 9,000 by now. I didn't get to watch the SOTU, so I can't say what the lies were, either.

When one weaves a web of lies, it is usually because they want to cover up one with another.

Trump doesn’t give a flying shit about covering up a previous lie. He just makes up a new one and moves on, not caring at all what that previous lie was.

Trump lies, a lot, that is an indisputable fact, he lied through out his campaign, lied on his first day, and has been doing it ever since, has anyone found those extra millions who attended his Inauguration yet?

Point being he knows he lies, it is part of his schtick, he can't ever acknowledge a fact he doesn't like so he muddles the truth, creates a degree of doubt for his lemmings to accept. It is all orchestrated, he knows what he is doing

That being said, it is damaging, underplays many of the institutions America's democracy is based upon. In Trump's world, George still swears he didn't cut down that cherry tree while at the same time he is visibly selling the cherry wood
