You lie. The UN WMD inspector Blix stated for the record that "difficulty" was met with a handful of sites out of hundreds...the inspector DID NOT claim total "BLOCKAGE" as you do here. I suggest you read up on what Blix reported, that the difficulties were resolved and it would take time to complete his inspections. Like it or not, the Shrub and company violated Congressional and UN law they agreed upon...and history has shown the invasion/occupation was based on that LIE. And the radio had always been a haven for right wing demogoues going back to Father Coughlon, the Fairness Doctrine limited both, but the right even then was highlighted by demagogues, Limbaugh's predecessor was probably Joe Pyne

One thing that is tangentially true about the OP is that our intelligence agencies definitely were gunning for entering Iraq. I don't think they tricked Bush, but I do think that the deep state certainly wanted the war to happen, much like how they pushed for the escalation of the Vietnam War.

There are a lot of people deeply embedded in the bureaucracy of our government that make a lot of money off of war, which is why both parties are interventionist.
