Limbaugh Blames NYC Shooting On Obama

That's fine. Let the militias carry guns. Even in STN's beloved backwoods Texas, where they specifically can't.

It's like an Army of 1200 Barney Fifes.
I see that you can't help showing your stupidity. Tell us, do you think that former marines and soldiers go through some sort of deprogramming machine, to where we forget everything that we learned in the military?

Naturally, you have proof that "most police departments avoid collecting stats like that in order to avoid any embarrasment (sic)"?
it's extremely difficult to find proof of something that doesn't exist, like weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. or is that an inconvenient fact for you liberals now?

it's extremely difficult to find proof of something that doesn't exist...

So there's no proof for your claim that "most police departments avoid collecting stats like that in order to avoid any embarrasment (sic)"?

since most police departments avoid collecting stats like that in order to avoid any embarrasment, you'll just have to accept the 11% number

Oops. I guess the NYPD isn't one of SmarterThanFew's "most", since the NYPD reported that bystanders were struck by their officer's bullets.

Johnson hid behind a car and then killed Ercolino with five gunshots as he arrived for work. Johnson then was shot by two police officers who confronted him on a busy sidewalk.

Security camera footage showed the officers had only an instant to react when Johnson suddenly turned as they approached and pointed his gun at them, his arm cocked as if to fire.

Their encounter was over in eight seconds.

The officers, who had been standing nearly close enough to shake hands with Johnson and had no opportunity to take cover, fired almost immediately.

Nine bystanders were wounded in the 16-shot volley, all by stray or ricocheting police bullets, police confirmed Saturday. None of their injuries was life-threatening, police said.

did I say NO departments? or just MOST departments? and since this incident just occurred, we can't tell if this will be compiled in an annual stat or report yet, can we? not only that, but I couldn't find an annual report for bystanders shot by NYPD, could you? so I guess you're not as smart as I am.

the next thing that should be approached is should each officer in the country be required to buy a million dollar insurance policy to protect the citizens from random police gunfire? if it's good for the citizens, wouldn't it be better for the police? think of how much tax payer settlement money that could save.

Play GI Joe all you want in your Texas State Militia. But you can't carry a gun, Barney.

So when you made this claim, you knew you couldn't prove it?

What percentage of "police departments avoid collecting stats like that in order to avoid any embarrasment (sic)"?

Where'd you get that information?

Put up, or admit you were bloviating.

Play GI Joe all you want in your Texas State Militia. But you can't carry a gun, Barney.

Didn't SmarterThanFew say that all citizens should legally be able to own and display any type of weapon publicly?
