It is called an educated guess, planes invariably do not just drop out of the sky especially when flying in clear weather conditions. In addition, it has to be something incredibly bad for the crew to not radio in to ATC and report the status.

Jarod's educated guess was frankly less about education and far more about political considerations. It isn't that hard to be honest, it is called being objective, logical and dealing with the facts as presented. Why that should be so alien to so many is beyond me. Yes he rage quit twice. I can't remember why he did it the first time. Grind probably does. The second time was pretty recent. The Mods quietly put in place a 10 thread per day limit to address his spamming of the board. They didn't announce it and quite frankly nobody else noticed it because nobody else starts 10 threads a day except loser boy Legion Troll. Well he threw a hissy fit and actually started putting Thread 1, Thread 2 in all of his new thread titles like a spoiled little bitch. I noticed the odd behavior and asked if anyone else had noticed it. That is when Grind told us about the new thread limit. Well of course I started mocking the little pussy Legiob Fag and not long after he rage quit. It didn't last as long as the first one and he was back in a few weeks.
But he really is a temperamental little baby with very thin skin.

Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, said people should not jump to conclusions about what happened to EgyptAir flight 804.
"In many walks of life it's just human nature to shoot from the hip or jump to conclusions, but in safety-critical domains like aviation it's the evidence, facts, that we must rely on," Sullenberder said in an interview on CBS' "Face the Nation."
Sullenberger, the pilot who successfully landed a 2009 U.S. Airways flight in the Hudson River next to New York City, said terrorism is certainly a possible cause, but added that there are other things that could go wrong mid-flight that have nothing to do with an intentional act.
"You know, in light of recent events certainly in that part of the world and others, it's natural, it's human nature, to think of terrorism in the forefront," he said. "An intentional act is one of many possible causes still on the table."
Ultimately, we'll know more once both the plane wreckage and the black box have been found and thoroughly examined, he said.
"Well of course we will know a lot more once aircraft wreckage has been recovered and examined," he said. "But what we can say right now is that whatever the triggering event was, it was not sufficient to immediately destroy the entire airplane."
Mark Rosenker, a CBS News aviation safety analyst and the former head of the National Transportation Safety Board, said it will be a long time before any real conclusions can be made.
"Unless there is something which to use a silver bullet or a smoking gun, we're going to have to wait a while to do the forensics necessary," he said.
