Very much like the early years of fascism. The party became the party of the cult leader, not the party of any ideology. After that, the cult members followed out of blind obedience to their leader. Some out of fear, as well. Some not. Merely mindless sheep.
They burned books. They turned in their neighbors and friends. It became a nation of “us” (the Aryans) against “them” (Jews, gypsies, university elite, opposition parties, gays, slavs, etc).

Gays, trans, immigrants (both legal and illegal), universities and their “indoctrination”, Muslims. The list goes on. In my state, Idaho, it’s common to villify our own US citizens, pointing to Californian moving here.

You don't even know what that word means. It was central to Hitler's vision for Germany. Until you understand it, you can't grasp what Hitler was really trying to do, and that in turn means you have no way to identify what he was trying or how to stop it. That's literal. That isn't what it means however. It is more akin to "Band of Brothers." The term comes from Frontmeingeschaft used by German veterans, Hitler being a WW 1 veteran. So, Hitler's "racism" wasn't selective, it was universal. Anyone not German / Aryan was an outsider. The Nazi party, well prior to WW 2 banned foreign newspapers not printed in German along with many books on the same theory of their not being German.
Today, we see the reverse in the US with fascism from the Left. DEI does the same thing as the Nazis did only the target is Whites and Western culture. These are pilloried and every attempt is made to remove them from society in the name of, variously, Diversity, Equity, or Inclusiveness.
One of our Leftist posters here uses the tag phrase "America's future is bright, not White." That is, in a sentence, pure unadulterated Nazi fascism. It is racist as Hell.

As posts go, that one sucked. DEI allows qualified people tio have a chance at a job they are qualified for. It does not put unqualified people in jobs they cannot handle. Your Trumpys votes put an unqualified person in the highest office. DEI is in no way like Naziism.

Bet you you're wrong. I've personally seen lots of unqualified people placed in jobs because the higher ups wanted a Black, woman, whatever, in that position. Government bureaucracies at the federal level use quotas too, they just don't publicize it. I was, at one point, tasked with making spreadsheets for one of these quota systems and told to just keep my mouth shut.
DEI is fascism in action.

I have worked some civil service jobs and they were like I stated. The bosses still have goals to reach and work to do. They do not have a lot of unqualified people in positions. They're not like Trump's administration. You have to qualify and pass a test to get a government job. All DEI gets is what a vet gets. They get a few points on the score.
