It's only as strong as the enforcement of it. There have been many cases of Sharia Law in American courts. The continual denial of that by the lying left doesn't change that fact. That is why many states are passing laws to prohibit Sharia Law being used in the courts.

The Sharia law scare is nothing but a Neo-con tactic to keep the retards of the Tea Party fearful of Muslims, so they can continue waging genocide in the Middle East.

Well....it was a tough decision....after reading through the entire thread and grading the posts for stupidity, absurdness, and illogical convoluted reasoning....and other minor attributes....Return of Dunce gets the blue ribbon with second place going to Rana.....Christiefan and wonderingbear come in tied for 3rd place but she had a damn good showing....

All in all....the degree of idiocy was far above the normal level of moronic opinions I'm used to for all the pinheads that tried out...

Wanderingbear trying to blame conservatives for the recent fiascos in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia going to the fanatic Muslims after US unions and Obama cheer each of the uprisings on backing the UN air war to overthrow these nations is especially galling....post 6, 9 and 11 tell a story.....
Then....to equate beheadings in the ME with the US death penalty would be laughable if it wasn't so fuckin' sad that these assholes actually believe what they post.....
The level of ignorance has to be at its max. in order to post the stupidity shown in the following posts.....

Actually, your commonwealth has a constitution. And its routinely ignored by the Massachusetts legislature. But the point is, what if they ignore it to the point of implementing sharia law? Would you then have a problem with it? :)

My commonwealth is still a state dipshit.
Sharia law cannot be enacted here, so your supposition is pointless, as usual.
Additionaly, it cannot be enacted anywhere in The U.S.
However, anyone who chooses to could submit themselves to Sharia law, but existing law will always take precedence.
Why is this simple concept so difficult for you to understand?

If, for some reason, it were possible, I, as a christian would not submit to Sharia law, nor would I want to.

I'm not going to do anything, but there is plenty that can be done behind the scenes. Libya will need a vast amount of help to rid itself of 40 odd years of dictatorship. I would also imagine the new leaders are keenly aware what can happen to leaders that turn despotic, having recently witnessed a graphic example.

Then how about a step-by-step description of how Shari'ah could become the law of the land.
