LIBERALS SEEK BAN ON METAPHORS IN WAKE OF ARIZONA SHOOTING

do you really believe that the innocent citizens who have done their time and finally, finally, been exonerated, did nothing but live on thier knees? i believe one guy recently from texas went home to his wife after decades of forced seperation. should he have died on his feet, instead of reuniting with his wife?
are we talking about the guy that was recently exonerated due to DNA evidence?

your last statement has catchy ring to it, however, fear from any side is dangerous. if the government fears its citizens, the government will become a tryant, if the citizens fear the government, they will become an insurgency. that is why our early founders adopted the second amendment. so that there would be a stand off, if you will....

it's a precarious balance indeed. That is what it's supposed to be. the reason the government prevails right now is that the citizens have lost that warrior spirit, that desire to be free. they've been led to believe that government is their protector, their savior, their provider. nothing could be further from the truth.

i disagree. without government, we are essentially lawless. we are a law unto ourselves. we are tribal. without a uniform government, we are a family unit first. second, we become a tribe. third we become a village. and so forth.

what type of governance do you believe in?

not really. the guy lost 30+ years of his life due to government criminality. is it better to die fighting for liberty or sit in a cell for 30 years hoping some group challenges the government?

why must you equate limited government with lawlessness? must it be one way or the other? either anarchy or total government control?
