Liberals Adopting Islam Shouldn't Surprise Us!

As I read the threads posted over the past week or so, I had to keep slapping myself to keep from thinking I must be living in a dream, this can't be actually happening, can it? Are Liberals REALLY taking up sides with the Islamic radicals, and adopting the Muslim faith? Surely they are kidding us, they don't REALLY hold this viewpoint, do they? All the talk of religious tolerance and freedom to worship... it seems rather funny in light of their war on religion the past 60 years or so. At first, I thought, well... they just haven't really thought this thing through completely, and in a few days, they will be on here spinning it all into some "trick" the right played on them, to cause them to adopt this new found love for all things Islam. But no... it continued on, day after day, gaining momentum and fervor, until we literally have pinhead liberals starting multiple threads to decry the travesty of poor innocent Muslims who can't practice their religion in America. It has been a stunning turnaround for people who, just a few years ago, had no seeming indication of faith in anything religious whatsoever.

While it may actually surprise some people, that the left has decided to adopt Islam and Sharia law, given their previous anti-religious tone, it doesn't really surprise me when I stop to think about it. They support a political ideology which is responsible for more death and destruction, more oppression and hate, more disparity and hideous violations of human rights, than any political system ever known to mankind. Communist Marxist Socialism. It has repeatedly failed to live up to expectations, and consistently delivered misery to the people it is imposed on. Therefore, it is indeed fitting and appropriate the religious dogma they would eventually adopt, would have the same qualities. I believe Islam is suited for Liberals, and it's a match made in Heaven... or whatever afterlife Muslims believe in.

As a Spiritualist, I am just thankful the pinheads found something to have faith in. I was beginning to worry about them as Atheistic nihilists who didn't believe in any Gods. It's good to know they at least have some spiritual guidance now, and if immoral despicable and disgusting, maggot infested pond scum is going to ever "find God", it is apropos they find it through Islamic radicalism.

The neocons are reasserting their control. The social conservative morons will fall right into line. Many somewhat moderate conservatives are being fooled into following this again, arguing that we really need to be tolerant of the hate mongering of the neocons.

Like the tanking economy, rising unemployment, increasing national debt, and the non-existent "Recovery Summer" the Democrats keep advertising. Damn if I want us to discuss those issues, I'd rather us contemplate whether we should allow radical Islamics to build a trophy mosque at ground zero! Because, that is what is really important to me!

There is no religious awakening, moron. The left and libertarians have not altered their views in any way regarding this issue. Freedom of religion is supported now as always.

Oh it's all over the board, just take a look around, you can't sling a dead cat without hitting a liberal, busy at work on a new thread about the terrible religious intolerance of the right! DonQ wants to know why we can't have Sharia arbitration? He and other pinheads think that would be a lovely idea! Jarhead has posted a record number of threads, bouncing around between a position like Howard Dean, Harry Reid, and myself have, that the mosque is "in bad taste" and should be built elsewhere, and a position of defiantly proclaiming the mosque shall be built, their rights must be upheld! Liberal after liberal has consistently tried to maintain this position of simply standing up for religious freedoms, while claiming not to support this mosque. Back and forth, all the arguments presented, it appears the liberals do support the mosque, in the name of religious freedom. I think that's fine, I don't blame them for not 'coming out of the closet' with their new found faith, people might get the crazy idea they are radical terrorists, aligned with the enemies of our nation, in a jihad, or something. So, it's probably for the best they keep their Islamic faith under wraps for now. But I just wonder where their religious tolerance was when Margaret Sanger and Madelyn Murray-O'Hare were preaching their Atheistic anti-religious philosophies? It might have been nice if they had embraced Sharia back then, huh?
