I needn't stop there, there are thousands upon thousands, and will be more and more as the structural racial inequality Republicanism have erected is dismantled over time by forward think progressives.

Actually Democrats beholden to teachers unions continue to keep large numbers of black children in failing schools and thus unable to reach their potential. And we know rich progressives like to use zoning laws to keep blacks and other P.O.C. out of their neighborhoods and schools.

The KKK now numbers 5,000. Way down since its socialist democrat heyday of 4 million. And it's no where near as violent as when it was the military arm of the socialists democrats murdering republican Blacks, Jews, and Catholics on a regular basis.

Rich progressives are the N.I.M.B.Ys? No, all rich people like large lot sizes, setback requirements, view easements, noise restrictions, density limits etc to enhance the quality of life. That issue is not partisan. Rich people don't want to be near anyone, but want instant access to all services and goods.

Teachers need good pay. Large empty nest homeowners provide disproportionate share in property tax, regardless of party.

Go to places like Texas. Do you think they have anywhere near the zoning limitations we do in California? Read the Sierra Club article I posted on here. Californian's, because of zoning and environmental laws, restrict home building which affects the poor and minorities the most. Yet we proclaim ourselves this progressive haven.

Higher teacher pay doesn't address the issue of the Democrats being beholden to teachers union and the fight to keep the failing status quo.

Digression fail. You say the goodies my party wants are freebies, so I can point out the goodies your party wants are freebies. The only difference is guns versus butter. Butter is better.

I have no opinion on it, except I know Stalin's purges weren't a picnic. 10 out of 10 purges aren't. The Soviet Union does not exist. Neither country is socialist. Republican USA policy is inherently racist. When the situational reality is structural inequality strongly associated along racial lines and the policy is facially colorblind, that IS an inherently racist policy agenda. We did not come from mars today to construct a society from scratch. If we did, your Republican domestic agenda with respect to race and wealth inequality more broadly would have much greater appeal to me. Sorry, I can't put my horse blinders on without smelling the stench of the Republican stable.

I don't know the specific reason. I'm confident whatever it is is not something that would serve as a chapter in "the Bell Curve....." If you are insinuating the committee is latently racist? Possibly. I would venture the structural differences of society at large and additional burdens visited upon racial minorities causes an underrepresentation of their best and brightest into the institutions of higher education, as well as a good dose of the fact that you can't construct a CERN supercollider when you are focussed on trying to raise enough rice to eat that day. I'm sure its an admixture, a rich tapestry.

I originated the war count over partisanship association, back when I was a Republican before the Bush fail, and posted the cost of blood and treasure and which party presided from every war. I'm confident a deconstruction of the history of blogging would track your ham handed recounting of my original thought back through 29 bloggers to yours truly.:rolleyes:

There isn't a concept you could possibly discover that I don't already know, have organized and filed away in the deepest recesses of my estimable consciousness.
