1. He Wrote A Lengthy, Rambling Manifesto

In the document, Lee accused humans of being the "most destructive, filthy, pollutive creatures around." It was posted at his website, www.savetheplanetproject.com, which has crashed due to server overload. It can still be accessed via Google Cache.

2, He's Been Arrested Outside Discovery Channel HQ Before

In early 2008, Lee was arrested by Montgomery County Police on charges of littering and disorderly conduct for throwing money to attract a crowd outside the channel's headquarters, DCist reports. The blog also noted that "Lee appears to have spent thousands of dollars in advertising his protest plans in publications such as the Express," a free D.C.-area newspaper, "and hiring homeless people to beef up his presence."

3. He Went to Extraordinary Lengths to Protest the Channel

Elaborating on the DCist's claims that Lee spent significant money to stage bizarre protests in front of the network, the Maryland County Newspapers Online Gazette reported back in 2008 that:

Lee was arrested with about $21,000 in cash in the duffel bag he had with him at the protest, Meng testified. Johnson told Lee that he would get his bag of money back. Lee said he had sold several inherited properties in Maui, Hawaii, where he lived prior to moving to San Diego, to pay for the protest, including about $30,000 for full-page advertisements in newspapers. Lee said he had one property left, worth about $200,000, and had plans to give it away in a ''save the planet contest."

Notes:
Current mood: angry

I am going over the Daniel Quinn books over and over. I refuse to read anything that is not directly related to the overpopulation problem and global warming. I am searching history for clues that could save the planet. I still am baffled why this is happening. It seems impossible. I am awaiting some nature videos that I ordered.

Guys, I went to the bookstore to relax, you know? Take it easy and the reflect on my life. I didn't mean to stumble on the book of the century. To be honest, the Daniel Quinn books are what I have been looking for for the better half of my life.

I remember a question I posed to a religious friend some time ago, that if we were all "meant" to act a certain way, then why do animals act the way they do? Why do they die? Can't they be "saved" as well. What I got was a definite "no,"

I absolutely hate it when someone tells me "no" or "it can't be done" or "that's just the way it is."

Entry 12/13/06
Category: Blogging

I finished reading Al Gore's book, and inconvenient truth a few days ago. It was very enlightening. However, at the end he didn't offer any real solutions, as if changing a lightbulb would even put a scratch in the global warming epidemic. The book was half good, which means the part about science was good. The rest seemed like a commercial for sainthood.

I re-read Genesis the first chapter. It was obviously written by a totalitarian farmer.

Today I am at SDSU doing research. I am also going to go get my old apartment back so I am closer to Borders. I watched video clips of the icecaps melting from global warming as well as scientific exploration of the problem.

Yep.... Prissy's SOULMATE here, nutting out and taking people hostage!

Yeah, I'm sure Zapped, Onzies and Jarhead will be here any minute, telling us that he was some whacked out right-wing teabagger who listened to too much Rush Limbaugh.

I'm guessing the irony of this statement is flying pretty comfortably above your head...

Onzies, this guy is one of your own! A WARMER... like Prissy! A full-fledged protesting radical 'save the earth' moron liberal, like YOU and the rest of your pinhead butt buddies! This is what kind of crazy shit you people do, in between bashing Fox News and trying to get Rush taken off the air, you take hostages and slash moderate Muslim cabbies! You fuckers are going INSANE, and it's becoming more and more apparent by the day!

LMFAO... what the fuck is that even supposed to mean? How can a statement that I made, be flying comfortably above MY head? You've not been reading any Daniel Quinn lately, have you???
It just makes you shake you head in wonder...Onecell's one cell..., and its not even firing:palm: right lately.....

On the contrary; they actually did a study once, and found that the higher the frequency in use of exclamation points, the more likely the individual was to be insane.

That's true, btw.

Ah, I see all of the rightie mensa have joined the thread. Dixie, bravo & Yurt - that's a regular Algonquin Round Table there.....

LOL... Well, most psychologists will tell you, people who take hostages and demand a television network "save the planet" are certifiably insane, and there is no "likely" about that, it's unquestionable mental instability. ...It kinda trumps exclamation points!!!

Don't forget "CRAZY Cusack"....

just, wow. if only there was some sort of tool or hand held device that people could carry around with them to make sure that they aren't vulnerable to these kinds of wackos taking them hostage.

Truly...sometimes life just tees 'em up just right. Fortunately I was here to watch...

:good4u:

I must admit I thought of you as well Zap with your comment from the other day about conservatives should be ashamed because of Fred Phelps and a couple of other crazies.

Unfortunately crazies exist and very few, if any, groups consisting of millions of people exist without them.

This thread is funny in the sense of it is like good trash talking. But to say I'm going to think less of someone because this random crazy did something is well beyond the extreme.

Whew - it's a good think I didn't do that, then.

You, on the other hand; ya know...w/ the exclamation points....
