Liberal ideas move from fringe to front-burner for Democrats

Anyone who works deserves a wage high enough that they don't qualify for government assistance.

If your business cannot pay people that high a wage and still be profitable, then your business deserves to die.

You're not entitled to owning a business.

Not if their skills don't warrant it.

If that person can't earn that high of a wage because the have low skills, does that person deserve to die?

They're not entitled to what they don't earn no matter how much YOU think they do.

f a freeloaders demands social welfare, he's unwilling to do for himself or he wouldn't demand it.

No, it's because the wage the worker gets is artificially low. It's got nothing to do with the value of labor. It's all about profits for the business.

You're admitting that a business cannot be successful unless its workers accept assistance. If that's what you actually believe, then you obviously lied about owning a business, and you don't know what you're saying.

You should have learned that having demanded it all your life. Another multi generational good for nothing living off honorable people like me. You'd do the country a favor if you'd voluntarily stop breathing.

You're not an honorable person. I think you're lying about yourself.

Exactly my point. That's why the only result of what you want to do would be a reduction in the standard of living in the US.

Macroeconomics dictates that you can't reduce the standard of living for a specific group of workers in a vacuum. It's impossible to do. If you spent even an hour in a classroom, you'd know this and wouldn't make such terrible arguments.

My standard of living doesn't go down because some freeloader doesn't get a handout.

You're not an honorable person. I think you're lying about yourself.

If anything is artificial, it's minimum wage. The government is putting a value on something without regard to actual worth.

You make a lot of claims about what I say that simply aren't true.

You should feel bad about being a dishonorable person expecting the taxpayers to support you.

Not if their skills don't warrant it..

Their skills do warrant it, and nowhere is it established that the current wages are commensurate with skill. They're skewed because of business' reliance on government assistance to pick up the slack of their low wages.

You seem to be admitting that many businesses cannot be successful if they pay a wage high enough to disqualify their workers for assistance. If that's the case, then you support corporate welfare.

If that person can't earn that high of a wage because the have low skills, does that person deserve to die?

You refuse to count government assistance in the true value of labor; which is an act of ignorance and omission. So you're deliberately and artificially changing the parameters of whatever definition of worth you have; a definition that exists nowhere other than your mind.

hey're not entitled to what they don't earn no matter how much YOU think they do.

Then businesses aren't either, since they're the ones exploiting the workers by paying them wages so low, they qualify for benefits.

YES YOU FUCKING DO.

Crack open a book about macroeconomics.

FFS, I'm tired of right-wing idiots exercising Dunning-Kruger to screech about things of which they know nothing.

Don't get made because you're wrong. You were born inferior. No need to continue to prove it, boy.

Government assistance has nothing to do with the value of labor. When someone demands government assistance, they're admitting that they offer nothing of value. Why do you feel the need to admit you have no value. Everyone knows you were worthless from the day you were born.

If anything is artificial, it's minimum wage. The government is putting a value on something without regard to actual worth.

Because if there was no minimum wage, we'd get wages closer to global competitors like China and Mexico. That seems to be what you want; to turn our economy into one that resembles Mexico.

You make a lot of claims about what I say that simply aren't true.

Everything I say is true, but you're the one with no understanding of macroeconomics, and who lacks the intellectual curiosity to learn about it. You also lie about yourself in order to lend your argument credibility it doesn't have. Lies that you know no one can verify if they're true. So you make claims about yourself, knowing there's no way to verify those claims, for no other reason than to lend your argument credibility it doesn't have because you lack education, experience, and moral character.

You should feel bad about being a dishonorable person expecting the taxpayers to support you.

Taxpayers don't support me. You, on the other hand...I'm not so sure.

Don't get made because you're wrong. You were born inferior. No need to continue to prove it, boy.

Oh, I'm not wrong.

You're the one who doesn't even know what macroeconomics is, and how it relates to this discussion when it comes to lowering the standard of living.

And you lack any intellectual curiosity to find out, because that would mean you're not as smart or informed as you pretend to be. And your ego cannot handle that bruising.

If someone offers a skill that a monkey could be trained to do, their wages need to be low not some artificial number.

Taxpayers do support you and your family for the last who knows how many generations. Your kind simply can't make it on your own.

You're wrong. You're simply too stupid to understand it. It's part of being an inferior mentality. You can't help it. You were born that way.

Government assistance has nothing to do with the value of labor.

Yes it does because it's literally a supplement to the wage they are given. Which means that you have to go "all in" when determining the value of labor because things like the health care that the business doesn't pay for's cost is deferred to taxpayers by assistance programs.

Macroeconomics is a subject you know less than nothing about. You're not even close. It's embarrassing.

Whether or not they get assistance is based on their begging. Nothing says that have to apply. They choose to be freeloaders.

It's not the responsibility of a business to do for you what you refuse to do for yourself. Sometime in life, boy, you have to step up and be a man. Some like you are mental kids the day you die because you don't have the ability to be a man.

If someone offers a skill that a monkey could be trained to do, their wages need to be low not some artificial number.

If you work a job, you deserve a living wage. Period. Government shouldn't be subsidizing the business' decision to exploit its workers in order to achieve a higher profit margin.

Taxpayers do support you and your family for the last who knows how many generations. Your kind simply can't make it on your own.

More projection, obviously.

LOL!

You're the one who has never studied macroeconomics, not me. I bet you don't even know what that word means, do you?

Whether or not they get assistance is based on their begging. Nothing says that have to apply. They choose to be freeloaders.

They get assistance because their employer pays them wages so low, they qualify for it. Pay them more, and they will get less assistance.

If one business can pay its workers a wage high enough that they don't qualify for existence, why can't they all?

No answer for that question other than you think people are entitled to own a business.
