Let's look at the dem candidates for 2020

why because google say's so, or Wikipedia?

you're funny
I never heard that term in my life, until the millenials and their don't care about anyone else but myself attitude.

Boomers were by and large just the opposite

No, your attitude of "me first" is not projected on younger generations.

"Rugged individualism" isn't a Millennial thing, it's a Boomer thing. And it's a Boomer thing because you wanted desperately to emulate your parents, who really struggled. But you took the wrong lessons away from that and celebrated the individual rather than society.

YOU
you didn't make this about individuals
you made this about YOU hating on ALL people of a certain age even when they are your allies from before you were born

I never once said I hated Boomers.

What I said was that Boomers need to step aside and cede leadership to the youth.

Pelosi is doing exactly that...hopefully Schumer will follow suit.

I forgot how race obsessed you were. Yeah, there are people from all walks of life who grow up in terrible circumstances. It's understandable a little rich kid such as yourself who grew up in a bubble might not understand that.

Being a straight, white, male automatically guarantees you a leg up in any circumstance you can dream of; from job applicant, to loan applicant, to lease applicant, to even how the justice system treats you.

The system is deliberately set up to accommodate straight white men, and not taking advantage of that is laziness and/or stupidity.

So I have no sympathy for Conservatives who squandered the institutional advantages they were handed.

And when it comes to the whiny resentment Conservatives express toward POC who are trying to use the system, I roll my fuckin eyes because I know that resentment comes from a place of entitlement and privilege that was never fully realized because of the inherent personal laziness and/or stupidity of that Conservative.

Life didn't turn out the way you were promised, straight white guy? Well, boo-fucking-hoo.

this is a democracy

not trashing your generation remember

telling us to shut up is hating on us

its not a war

its a come together discussion

Im teaching him that I am on the right side even though Im old

Like the vast majority of his fellow Democratic party members who are old

Don't make enemies where you have friends

its self destructive

I know your intentions are good, even benevolent.

What I'm saying is that your ideas are too small and that's because they come from a generation place of individualism.

Pelosi knows this, and that's exactly why she said she'd step down after 4 years as Speaker.

no we did not half of boomers voted for him

Right, and those votes were welcome.

What wasn't welcome was thinking those votes bought you a seat at the table.

Everything Obama tried to accomplish was ultimately undermined by Democrats. "Conservative" Reagan Democrats that Clinton had triangulated in the 90's, who ended up turning their backs on Obama just two years later.

Now, blue dogs are extinct and no one is convinced that Joe Manchin is a liberal Democrat whose vision aligns with that of the rest of the party.

I see. So anyone born poor and white is automatically a political conservative in your eyes. And it's ok for minorities to work in the same job for 30 years but not for white people. Like we said, any white people who teach for 30 years are failures who serve no purpose in living.

Face it Desh, your generation sucks. Boomers have ruined must of this country.

Now I will throw you a bone. Every generation will deem itself more progressive than the one prior because the world is always changing. I'm Gen X and Gen Z make look at us like we do Boomers. But until then your generation f'd up the country.

It's not the Millennials that have the "I don't care about anyone else" attitude. That would be the Trump Crowd!

This will be the first presidential election that Millennials will be of legal age to vote. And look for them to be a huge part of the vote.

So you may not want to hear what they want, but you may want to listen!

You are wrong and uninformed as usual

It is a habit with you

your group REFUSED to vote and help us for YEARS

Because you gave us nothing to vote for!

You triangulated and postured your rugged individualism and moderate bonafides.

You had no big ideas!

A big idea is the Green New Deal.

A big idea is Medicare for All.

A big idea is free public colleges.

A big idea is withdrawing all our troops from overseas military bases.

THOSE are big ideas.

A tax break for a small business owners isn't a big idea. Fiscal stimulus by way of tax cuts isn't a big idea. Three strikes laws aren't big ideas. Reforming welfare to make it harder for people to qualify isn't a big idea.

Those are all small ideas.

When you fail to inspire people, they aren't going to show up to vote for you.

It came off as phony and disingenuous, which is why when 2010 rolled around, no one voted for the Blue Dogs.

Millennials were of legal age to vote in 2016. How did that work out?
