For the millionth time, all oil is bought and sold on the global markets.

So if it's not Russia's oil we're buying, it's OPEC's.

The only way that we can be "energy independent" as you imagine is if we nationalized the oil industry.

But you don't support that because you're an idiot.

Drill, open new refineries!!!!!!! The oil we pull from the reserve, will have to be shipped out to be refined, because of green whack jobs like you!

We should tell Putin to drink his oil then we should tap in to the SOR and drill drill drill. If the SOR is full it would hold 714,000,000 Barrels and we are using 709,000 barrels a day of Russian petroleum products. So the SOR could help bridge the gap between now and when production comes on line.

And there is the Problem. Since President moron became the Resident and killed energy independence the US has had to buy oil on the global market instead of using domestically produced oil.
