Let's Boycott United Airlines

you should do some self introspection, learn about yourself. let me give you a direction......

The Traitorous Critic Fallacy

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ergo_decedo

means responding to criticism by attacking a person's perceived favorability to an out-group as the underlying reason for the criticism rather than addressing the criticism itself. The critic is assumed to be ungrateful of the values and customs of the group or traitorous, and thus suggested that they should stay away from the issue altogether, typically by leaving the group.

Keep digging!

Are you a sock puppet for Smarterthanyou? You have too be. Both have no clue about rights, laws, LEO or anything else. Just sputter bullshit.

I, for one, would be most interested in hearing your theory of what are rights, laws, the duties of LEOs, and anything else you espouse as bullshit.

Quit wasting my time troll.

The airlines don't have a legitimate right to sell services they refuse to deliver or to force a price on bumped passengers.

The police should have refused to act and demanded that United raise their offer. It's their mistake and it's their responsibility. The government is here to protect your rights not to protect you from your errors.

the terms of the contract ALL specify BEFORE BOARDING!!!! The guy had already boarded, therefore the airline had no contractual authority to remove him unless he violated some sort of FAA ordnance.
Yup, the airline violated their contract.
To a one, every cuck on this thread takes the fascist approach to this.

Just pointing out that he's not a very nice man, there are many others far more deserving of our sympathy. Saying that though, no one should be treated that way it is a very bad way to do business.

I am sure that he will make a fuckton of money off of this though.

So you're saying that something from so long ago, should define a person for the rest of their life.
Lest we forget; there was no victim in his behavior, except for what he caused for himself.
He was also punished for his behavior and unless you have nothing to show that he continued, it would seem that you're just intent on trying to blame him for what United did.

United is the one that handled it badly. They could have offered more. It would have solved it easily. Instead they called on the government to fix their mistake.

They should have seen what an offer of $1000 might have brought; because the fall out and settlement of this is probably going to cost them more then $1000.

Except you
For some odd reason you are on the right side of this.

United should not have boarded this plane until everyone was resolved.

Don't know this Dr but he obviously acted like an ass and brought this on himself.

Even if United was wrong he doesn't have the right to act like a petulant child.

This is what liberalism and social media have wrought. A grievance society combined with instant fame.

How did he "obviously" act like an ass?

You truly do live in a bubble. Friggin la la land.

I think you would be interested in hearing anything of which you know nothing about. Quite a common with you I am certain.

I implied no such thing. I stated that no matter what United did he should have acted graciously and not created a scene.

To me he comes off looking poorly. That is not a defense of United.

Of course I can understand how shallow thinkers would believe that is what I intend to say

So he should have just been a sheep and complied with their request to solve the problem they created?

You are all over the place prole. Like most I don't know the entirety of this story.

Regardless how aggrieved he felt by United there was no justifying his behavior.

But if makes you proles feel better to "boycott" United feel free. You will soon learn that your love of gobblement regulation had left you with few options when it comes to air travel.

You proles want first class service at Priceline prices and zero risk.

What behavior, SAYING NO?

Here is a news flash for you. When an LEO asks you to leave, it is wise to do so. Hence the reason for laws and lawyers in this country if you do not agree with what has occurred. With not so bright people like yourself and the idiot who resisted, you pretty much deserve any beating you get for being so stupid.

Bullshit.
He was no threat to no one and exhibited no threatening behavior.

Saying NO is not a reason for what occurred.
