Let the ass kickings begin!

The 112th Congress is now seated, and it will begin to do the work of the people over the next two years. The House has signaled its plans to repeal Obamacare, in spite of everyone insisting this is pointless, because Obama will ultimately veto it, if the Senate even approves it, but this is a matter of principle. It may very well be defeated, and Obamacare could certainly survive, I think we can all understand, we will probably never be able to eliminate ALL of the provisions in Obamacare, nor would we necessarily want to. But the piece of legislation as passed by the 111th under Pelosi, is going to be repealed in the United States House of Representatives, and sent to the Senate. The People can hold their respective Congress member accountable for how they vote.

Now that we have gotten rid of a whole bunch of idiots in Congress, now that we are "away from the fog of the controversy" and have seen how The People feel about Obamacare in general, let's have every Senator go on record, supporting or not supporting Obamacare! Last time I checked, there weren't many Democrats campaigning on their support for Obamacare, in fact, the Democrats have pretty staunchly ignored the fact they supported this load of garbage, and now that the people are fully aware of the load of garbage and its ramifications, we can, again see how our Senators feel. Perhaps they may have had a change of heart? Who knows? You can't know unless it is put to a vote, can you?

But that is only the FIRST of a long list of things we have to do. After this little re-education period, about how things are now going to go, we're going to tackle the spending addiction congress suffers from. We need to have an interdiction. Just like you might have with an alcoholic or drug addict, we have to confront the pork-addicted members of the body, and encourage them to realize, we are going to deal with this problem now. Raising the Debt Ceiling has become a popular topic lately, and I think, before we agree to do such a thing, we have to come to an understanding about things. Spending cuts are going to have to be made, drastic ones... and real cuts, not just decreasing the built in cost of living increases. Some programs are going to have to be cut, others streamlined, some things are going to have to be de-funded. This is not going to be fun for liberals.

Let the ass kickings begin! :whip:

let's also bash the conservatard idiots flushing trillions down the drain for wars and Nixon's war on democrats/librals ie pot heads.
Oh wait assclowns like you suck the dripping come from the dongs of the conservatards waisting that money. Oh never mind you cousin marrier.

The scope and breadth of your ignorance is sickening. You scum bag fascists just can't wait to punish the American people and suck the dicks of the wealthy slime that destroyed our economy. This is not going to be fun for the American people, but Wall Street will have a party.

You are a real asshole Dixie.

..."New House Majority Leader Eric Cantor introduced a rules package that covers scheduling (how many days worked, when votes can and cannot occur), the terms and conditions for debating bills (all bills will cite their constitutional authority and be posted online for 72 hours before a vote) and allows electronic devices, such as BlackBerries and iPads on the floor of the lower chamber.

Finally, and perhaps most controversially, Rep. Paul Ryan, chairman of the House Budget Committee, will have the authority to set the top line budget numbers for the year -- a change from the previous process, which went through the Budget Committee.

The package is expected to pass.

One of the first acts of the Republican-controlled House is to take away the floor voting rights of six delegates representing areas such as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam and American Samoa...

...Democrats extended those voting rights in 1993 when they controlled the House. Republicans disenfranchised the delegates when they became the majority in 1995, and Democrats restored delegate rights when they regained control in 2007...

...Boehner, who has earned a reputation for shedding tears, did not cry during his speech...

...Though Republicans pledged to cut $100 billion in the first year that is not obligated to entitlements, defense and homeland security, they began backtracking almost immediately..."

Some conflicts are necessary you stupid fuck....fight em now or fight em later, but they will be fought sooner or later....so grow up.

Some people will NEVER, and I mean NEVER live and let live with others....only idiots would ignore there threats, even if it seems they can not, at the moment, carry them out....

Threats like "repealing Obamacare" even though it's impossible without the votes to overide a veto?

Those kind of threats?

It's no gonna happen, either, it is just playing politics by the GOP, they have to act like they are doing something big.

Yeah sister, eventually, it is gonna happen. If not completely repealed, picked apart by the buzzards and rendered irrelevant by the courts. One way or the other, we won't have Obamacare.... it's done.

You know, I don't really care how much fun you want to make over the man because he gets emotional. I'd rather have someone like that in charge, than someone who lowers the temperature in the room when she walks in, like Hilary. But really... if that kind of cheap humor makes you guys laugh out loud, I think it's fine and I can live with it.
