Let me see if I have this straight, the Senate Health Care Bill

I do, in as far as it stops the bleeding that is Obamacare.

It's a discussion bill, needing all hands on deck to iron out fixes.

But the premise of not forcing someone to buy something they don't want to buy, or need.
And adding incentives for states to get involved more rather that the wholesale draining of federal funds, and allowing across state lines competition, you know that capitalism idea, is a start

I'm hoping that they remove all the roadblocks that stop insurance companies from competing in all States; because this would force the market to come down and give everyone the opportunity to choose which program works best for them. :good4u:

I think what's happening now is a near-perfect reflection of the differences in priorities between the 2 parties.

Democrats look out for the most vulnerable in our society. Republicans look out for the very wealthy.

You're partially right; because you left out that liberals look out for the most vulnerable in our society and then use them to the benefit of the liberals. :palm:

How else would you interpret actions that take so much from the poor & give so much to the wealthy?

If the poor are so poor, then how can they even have enough to have TAKEN from them and GIVEN to anyone else?
Can you break it down on exactly how much the poor now have to give to the wealthy?

look I will bottom line this for the loons.

It's not a matter of IF Obamacare is repealed, it's WHEN.
nothing more to say except it's time to try something different, the ACA didn't work, Period, keep talking all you want, it's chatter, babble and chatter
Yea...it did. trump is talking about providing billions for cost sharing under the new plan.

That's the money House Republicans took from the budget.

Here's an idea...just keep ACA, and put that money back in.

When they de funded the risk corridors, 13 non profit ins. companies went out of business. I'll bet some states would love to have their insurance back.

Sadly, Obamacare providers have stopped providing, leaving millions of children dying in the streets.

Thanks, Obama
Thanks, House Republicans

The $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill headed for approval in the House on Friday contains yet another GOP blow to the Affordable Care Act. This one blocks administration efforts to bolster a special fund created under the law to compensate insurance companies for excessive losses due to a disproportionate share of very sick or elderly enrollees.

Now let's see. Choice number 1. THE PEOPLE get billions for cost sharing....for a physician and or hospital of their choice. Choice number 2. Put the money back into ACA (where the government manages and dictates the conditions and limitations of THE PEOPLE'S health care) in spite of the fact 13 companies were being subsidized by BIG BROTHER and failed because they could not make it on their own....and YOU demand these failed companies be placed back into the health care system under the peoples dime.. while continuing to be controlled by BIG BROTHER in relation to THE PEOPLE'S healthcare.

I pick door number one....which prohibits the government from "bailing" out the ACA with THE PEOPLE'S MONEY in order to demonstrate that a "single payer" system is much needed.....just look at the failures (that would never have existed if BIG BROTHER had not stuck his nose about a foot up THE PEOPLE'S private asses in relation as to how they choose to manage their own health care needs).

Typical. Was that not the original design in the 1st place.....THE ACA (which was proven to be anything but AFFORDABLE).....was designed to fail and prove that private insurance carriers are not capable of providing care to the citizens of this nation...just look at the increasing costs (never mind the fact that health care premiums have doubled and tripled because of Government management under the supposed "afforable" care act)?

Just how people do you assume the stupid to be? :) The People...who rejected the high handed intrusions by the communist socialists over the past 8 years and rejected the status quo totally in handing over the entire government to a more conservative approach. That could be why a TV personality defeated the most qualified presidential candidate in US history....and allowed that non politician to drag both houses into the conservative coffers on his coattails. Or are you still denying the reality that Social Communism was rejected by the people over the past decade to the tune of the LIBERALS losing over 900 seats of government power, the presidency, both houses of congress and replaced a deceased SCOTUS judge with another conservative judge while rejecting an Obama pick last year....due primarily to the liberal precedent of executing the nuclear option in order to confirm matters of importance by a simple majority vote.

Now why would the PEOPLE ever endorse keeping the very same plan they overwhelmingly rejected last Nov.?

Actually it gives states the ability to opt into medicaid, and run it themselves. So the red states should be very happy about that.

Rather than Obamacare that forces everyone to buy insurance.
