The climate is fine and many plant and animal species are absolutely thriving but they aren’t the ones you want to be thriving.

For instance, Jellyfish are at their highest number in recorded history, insects of all sorts are doing wonderful, birds who live among humans have never been more abundant.

The Earth covered in ice is not its normal state.

It might be to you because that’s all you’ve ever known but the earth’s natural state is to be ice free
