The past few years have been good to gun owners, but the attitude of enforcement agencies such as the DOJ and ATF leaves much to be desired. Both those are executive offices which means that they can bypass congress and the USSC to a fairly large degree. Additionally the 2 recent court decisions (Heller and McDonald) were won by one justice; Kennedy. With Obamas recent court appointments, it is almost certain that if a pro gun justice were to retire or die, a anti would be put in their place. So by no means whatsoever should gun owners relax their guard.
