Leftists make me laugh

So I have seen this trend on Twitter where broads are threatening to close their legs and not put out for the next four years in protest about abortion or something.

Do they not get the irony that if they actually do it, they won’t have any need for an abortion?

1. Claim: “Trend on Twitter where broads are threatening to close their legs … in protest about abortion”

  • ⚠️ Fact check:
    • Social media trends can emerge quickly, but calling it a “trend” implies widespread participation.
    • Without specific metrics or examples (hashtags, tweets, numbers), this is anecdotal and possibly exaggerated.
    • The term “broads” is derogatory and biased.
  • Bias check: Using gendered slurs (“broads”) shows disdain and misogyny, which frames the post as hostile rather than neutral observation.

2. Claim / question: “If they actually do it, they won’t have any need for an abortion”

  • ✅ Fact check (logical observation):
    • Biologically, abstinence would prevent pregnancy, so technically correct: not having intercourse eliminates the chance of pregnancy and, therefore, abortion.
    • However, this oversimplifies human behavior and ignores broader political, social, or symbolic aspects of protest.
  • Bias check: Framing it as “irony” is mocking the people involved. It reduces a complex political stance to a simple logical quip, which is dismissive and condescending.

✅ Summary

  • Factually plausible but unverified: Some tweets express abstinence as protest.
  • Factually correct: Abstinence prevents pregnancy.
  • Bias present: Strong derogatory language, mocking tone, and dismissive framing of protest.
