Sounds like a Darwin Award recipient there.
The way the "news" spun the collision, anyone might think the cops ran him down on purpose, for the hell of it.
Headline: LA father separated from toddler by federal agents outside Home Depot!
Reality: The “LA father” exited his vehicle armed with a hammer and threw rocks at law enforcement while he had a child in his car.
He was arrested for assault and during his arrest a pistol was found in his car, that is reported stolen out of the state of New York.
The “LA father” also had an active warrant for property damage.
