I never once lied about the fact that I brought a gun into Mexico. Not once.

I never once lied about the fact that I was ready to put my car up for inspection at the border and I did answer any and all questions posed to me by the mexican customs agent with complete honesty. Those are the facts. Nothing dishonest there at all.

And, as stated, that has been overtaken by events, and I am now totally within the laws of the country where I reside.

And I never violated my oath... unless it is your contention that anyone who ever does anything the least bit illegal in any way - drinking before legal age (I certainly did that after I had taken the oath) - or speeding in a car (ditto) - running a red light (ditto) going through a stop sign without coming to a complete stop (ditto) - pissing in public (ditto) - violated that oath... in which case, nearly every single person I ever knew or heard of who ever wore the uniform violated their oath in that same way. All things considered, I am pleased with and proud of my quarter of a century supporting and defending the constitution. And I am grateful that a grateful nation has seen fit to compensate me so nicely for so many years because of that service.
