Really? For one, I'm guessing the audience was told to behave. Couple that with advance notice that Trump would be there, so many in the audience got their tix for that reason. Trump is a NY guy, so half the audience was probably in his camp.

We'll see exactly how this bodes for Hillary, as she'll be on tomorrow night.

I'm sure the applause will not be quite so tepid as with Trump.

Jimmy Fallon dons surgical mask to greet Hillary Clinton on Tonight Show

A day after getting deeply acquainted with Donald Trump’s hairdo, Jimmy Fallon was a bit more hesitant to get up close and personal with Hillary Clinton.

During Clinton’s latest visit to The Tonight Show, which taped Friday and will air Monday, Fallon jokingly donned a surgical mask to welcome the Democratic presidential nominee, who recently recovered from a bout of pneumonia.

“Thank you so much,” Fallon said while reaching into his desk drawer and pulling out the mask. “It is great to have you here.”

Clinton laughed and high-fived the late-night host, who then made a show of applying hand sanitizer.
