Leaked Document From 2018 Could Derail Trump’s Indictment

This contradicts his recent testimony in front of a grand jury and could complicate prosecutors’ efforts to charge Trump with criminal activity related to the payments.

According to Cohen, Trump instructed him to pay $130,000 to Stormy Daniels to prevent her from revealing their alleged affair just days before the 2016 presidential election.

The grand jury session originally scheduled for today has been postponed, but prosecutors have requested the jurors return on Thursday with the possibility of one more witness.

The 2018 letter also contradicts his previous sworn testimony to Congress.

Cohen already admitted this way back when he was being tried and he recanted this ages ago, this isn't new. Why the fuck do you think he went to jail? He testified numerous times that trump had nothing to do with any payments. After recanting and providing evidence and emails it became obvious that he had been lying. Why do you think you find this bullshit on sites like these?

A number of Russians have come forward since then and admitted to it. Trump not being charged at the time does not mean he was innocent or that the charges were bogus.

On his words alone. Not an Internet lawyer like most JPP Trumpers, but witnesses need to be corroborated anyway in order to remove "reasonable doubt" for a conviction. In short, the DA has to back up Cohen's testimony with facts and evidence.
