prohibition didn't work then and it doesn't work now. people bury their heads in the sand, insist marijuana is more dangerous than alcohol and ignore the overwhelming cost the drug war imposes on the american taxpayer. more and more americans are becoming aware of that fact. I once had 3 quarters of the drury raise their hand when the prosecutor asked if they believed we should end the war on drugs. half of those people were over the age of 60. the war on drugs is also more responsible for the deaths in mexico, and the economic and political power of the mexican cartels, than any other factor. If legalized, the price of marijuana would drop dramatically and the cartels would lose their most profitable product. The logic of prohibitionists is incomprehensible.
 
and those pesky speed limit laws....they do nothing but cause drivers to become impatient and take dangerous chances causing collisions and death....

and laws against murder....do away with those laws and the crime of murder will disappear overnight...

same for robbery, etc.....prisons would no longer be needed and the money saved could spent on getting liberals elected.....

and your dope should come in the mail just like your welfare check and food stamp charge card....get 'er done, I say....
