While Ingram may well be a lying ass on this, her point is valid. For those that paid back their loan, for those that were frugal, Joke's writing off student loans is a slap in the face. It's also an insult to every person paying taxes. Worse, it appears Joke is going to write off loans whether the student finished their education program or not.

I see it as nothing more than the Democrats trying to buy votes, another corrupt practice by those assholes.

He's buying the youth vote, in the same way he bought the S.Carolina endorsement with Harris.

I'm not necessarily in favor of debt forgiveness. College has become the norm in this nation, and more than half of all degrees are worthless. Some states already offer 'free' tuition in state schools for low income families.

I'm in favor of future programs that allow for low interest tuition, with matching funds for trade schools. Heavy on the latter.

There is a very good argument to be made against loan forgiveness but (assuming she is lying) she does the argument no favors by lying like this. It’s too bad because it takes away from the position and one shouldn’t have to lie to convince others that it’s not good policy
 
Honest question guno, I’ve seen you previously mock people who don’t go to college yet you thanked Althea’s post saying some/many majors are worthless and basically college isn’t for everyone and trade school should be emphasized.

I’m not asking this as a gotcha question rather just curious to your position. They seem contradictory

I worked full time while I went to college and took 5 1/2 years to graduate with my economically worthless degrees. Somebody had to pay for the alcohol that all those pretty girls were hoping to drink!

If morons make mistakes and borrow hundreds of thousands to gain economically worthless degrees, similar to the one that I paid for as I went, that's the problem of the morons.

It makes me wonder if they didn't say to their friends on the day they took out their loan(s), "Hey you guys, watch this. Hold my beer..."

Riding their skate board off their friend's daddy's roof or mortgaging their future makes about equal sense.

If a state offers free tuition, that is a states' rights issue. If the Feds offer it, it is Unconstitutional.

Indeed.

Biden does not have the authority to invalidate a contract.

Equal protection under the law would require that those who worked and paid their college debt be reimbursed.

There isn’t enough money in America to do that.

California has already violated this by giving the lower instate tuition to out of state illegals while out of state veterans pay the higher out of state tuition.
