"Last week, the Taliban murdered a comedian," Maher said,

Jack, after this horrible debacle by Slow Joe, surely you see the merit of withdrawing the civilians FIRST and the military next...surely,

So. Earl. You knew in advance that the Victorious Taliban would give the Losers an opportunity to evacuate their 'people'? That's amazing. Why didn't you share this at the time?

I believe so, TOP.
Isn't it wonderful how the Taliban are providing 'Security' for the Losing Side.
I believe you're incorrect....
Will there ever be accountability for how grossly this was mishandled?

President Trump would not have done what Biden did. You know that.

I wonder why the Pentagon hasn't called you yet for your brilliant advices.

Jack, cutting through the mierda, I am a veteran and this plan to evacuate the military first and leave billions of dollars of weapons behind and American citizens who are now hostages is anathema to me. All the sacrifices of our military and their dependents were in vain and the sitting president is responsible.

:) OK. So you AGREE that we should 'withdraw'. And now you are claiming that (as you look into Anatta's Crystal Ball) if Trump was President, the 'withdrawal' would be the Most Beautiful the World has Ever Witnessed. That the Taliban would be carrying around Trump in a Golden Chair through the Streets of Kabul singing 'He's a Jolly Good Fellow, he's a Jolly Good Fellow'.

It's hard to argue with Anatta's Crystal Ball.

You’re claiming to have a better Crystal Ball lol?

Usually the Winning Army doesn't grant permission to the Losing Army to leave gracefully.
I can't remember, are you the one that WANTS 100,000 Afghanis as your neighbor, or DOESN'T WANT 100,000 Afghanis as your neighbor?

So. NOW you think we should have stayed? (That's called 'waffling', Earl)

This is on Joe...They knew this would happen. And the darkest days are ahead... I don't screen my neighbors...do you?

Well, it's 'on Joe', you're right there.
I don't think anybody knew the Losing Army would be granted permission to evacuate their 'people'. (Do you have access to Anatta's Crystal Ball?)

Jack, there are 13 dead American soldiers and hundreds of dead Afghans.

Does that look like leaving gracefully?

Real Time" host Bill Maher closed his show on Friday night by teaching liberals the "lesson of Afghanistan" amid the ongoing turmoil in the Asian nation.

"Blind hatred of America is just as blinkered as blind love. And we Americans should really get some perspective about where we live," Maher began his monologue. "Watching this s--- go down in Afghanistan,
I was reminded lately of every conversation I've ever had with an immigrant, almost all of which if we got to really talking,
included the notion, ‘Oh, you people have no idea. All you do is b---- about and badmouth your own country, but if you knew about the country I came from, you'd stop s----ing on your own.’"

Maher poked fun at Republicans for being "overly sentimental" when it comes to patriotism and "over-romanticizing" America, but blasted liberals for "under-romanticizing" America and accused them of "having no perspective."

"Last week, the Taliban murdered a comedian," Maher said, referring to Afghan comedian Nazar Mohammad, who was tortured and executed. "A comedian, a thing like that really hits close to home for me. I've had two presidents up my a--. … Neither experience was pleasant, but I never had to worry about being dragged 'til I'm dead behind a Toyota Tacoma. Have a little perspective about the stuff we howl about here."

"I'm sorry your professor said something you didn't like. That won't be a problem with the Taliban because you're not allowed to go to school.
In Saudi Arabia, grown women can be jailed for doing the kind of things we think of as routine without the permission of a male guardian.
China rounds you up if you're the wrong religion and puts you in camps," Maher said before listing several other injustices around the world.

wow!! such insight! who knew the taliban were an extreme right wing religious group! just because trump praised them? maher is a clown. when you are making any kind of deal with a foreign country- you deal with who has the most power in that country- not what group you admire the most.
