Is someone omitting the root cause of the issue? Yes, I think someone is.

The LA Sheriff, Robert Luna, failed utterly to prevent ICE Agents from being attacked. Luna declared that he didn't intervene immediately because "he wasn't asked to" is about the worst excuse he could give. Luna, being the county sheriff, had both the authority and obligation to intervene the moment Federal agents were threatened. If Luna hadn't proven to be so dysfunctional, there would have been no need for the President to send in the National Guard to protect Federal personnel. As it happened, Luna's incompetence obligated the President to send in the National Guard.

As i stated @Damocles will now ghost the thread and wait for this post to fall back before reappearing and repeating the 'Biden...Medicaid' comment while doing everything he possibly can to NEVER, not once, acknowledge a statement like this by Trump is UNDENYABLE worse.

It is his way of never having to admit or acknowledge that what Trump says above as a reply to a question is more of a clear and undeniable dementia rant that Bidens 'we finally beat Medicare' comment Damo posts constantly as what he thinks is a slam dunk point to prove Bidens dementia.

There is zero chance, ZERO, that if that was Biden answering an interviewer with that answer to that question that Damocles and the magat media and the magats here would not point at that over and over as absolute proof Biden's brain was gone.
 
@T.A.Gardner did read the above when i first posted it. He said he could at least read what Trump says there and understand what he was trying to say in that as an answer.

When i reposed the question asked which is 'now that young black men are voting for you more how can we address the issue of only 36% of them trusting the police' ... and then i asked Terry to quote what specific part of Trumps answers addressed that question even in the most tangential way... Terry disappeared from the chat just as Damo does, not to be seen again.

I ask any Magat here. The Fox Interviewer Kilmeade was lobbing Trump a softball and dong his best to ensure Trump focused by saying 'I am going to ask you to attack this' question. He wanted Trump to reply with some easy politician type BS about how he would do things to support that community that would help build trust, as Kilmeade was trying to shore up the AA vote for Trump.

As you can see above Trump just could not do it. Not even close. He heard the question but like someone suffering onset dementia his mind wandered in another direction entirely and he started answering questions not asked.
