They were armed. It is not required for an assailant to be armed for self defense.

Angry Jew who ambushed, chased him, cornered him and tried to wrest the rifle from him so he could kill the kid with it (Angry Jew's stated intention). Skateboard Dude who grabbed the rifle and who knows what he'd do with it. Grosskreutz who leveled his pistol at the kid. One who is defending himself against aggression is never the aggressor.

Or, we could start with the freedom to conduct business without mask and vaccine mandates or anyone deciding if your business is 'critical' or not (removed by Democrats).
Or, we could start with the freedom to own any weapon (ignored by Democrats).
Or, we could start with the liberty associated with the right to trial by your peers (ignored by Democrats).
Or, we could start with the freedom from censorship and retaliation (now threatened by Democrats).
Or, we could start with the freedom to choose the energy source we want to buy (now affected by fascism by Democrats).
Or, we could start with the freedom to not buy auto insurance (now mandated in several States by Democrats).
Or, we could start with the freedom vote in an election free of election fraud (committed by Democrats).

May I add the right to speak at a school board meeting concerning the teaching of race hatred to PK students without the intimidation of the FBI and the Justice Department?

Or the dossiers of parents who protest at school board meetings including photographs and financial information.
