Ukrainian and Russian officials say agree plan for safe corridors, backed by possible ceasefires, to evacuate civilians.

Second round of talks between delegations from Kyiv and Moscow have ended with the two sides creating humanitarian corridors.
Russian President Vladimir Putin says operations in Ukraine were going to plan.
Russian troops have seized control of Kherson, in Ukraine’s south.
Several other cities, including the capital, Kyiv, northeastern Kharkiv and Mariupol, in the southeast, continue to be attacked.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukraine’s defence lines are holding.
The United Nations says more than one million people have fled Ukraine amid Russia’s assault.

I guess that's why the Russian armor halted and the air force involvement was limited.

The Ukranians should capitulate with honor- and the rebuilding can start.
 
Pretty easy to say: "We will never join NATO" at this point.

1. Gives Putin a 'Way Out'. He can claim Victory.

2. The World views Putin as a 'Menace to Mankind'. Zelensky receives Nobel Prize. Becomes a National Hero. Europe moves into Ukraine to rebuild. Ukraine now and forever in 'European Orbit'.

Zelensky can GIVE Putin the opportunity.
State what Putin said he wanted; 'Ukraine will never join NATO'.

At that point, Putin can claim Victory, and turn around his War Machine.
Bottom Line: Zelensky Saves Ukraine.

Well, it's a Plan B.
If I was Zelensky, I would jump at this chance to let Putin find a 'Way Out'.
Saying "You Win", creates an immediate Cease Fire.

that's a very good idea if he just wanted to end the war
I think Zelensky sees himself as a "freedom fighter" - more then just head of state-
so that complicates it

:) Let's see. 'Europe' moves in to rebuild Ukraine. 30 Flags of 30 Countries. Each flying from their respective Projects.
Putin busy trying to revive Russian economy after devastating sanctions.

Mmmmm ... not real sure he thinks 'invading Ukraine' was a Good Idea about now.

4months ago that might have stopped the war.
we absolutely refused to even discuss it.
Putin sees Uk becoming more and more militarized
Zelensky agitating for NATO
It became time for Putin to push back or live with a NATO proxy state on his border
and probably an actual NATO state becoming more and more powerful
