KTVU erroneously names Asiana Flight 214 pilots

This is a local Oakland station. How could they not know this was a prank? How could they read these names on the air? There's nothing funny about the crash but seriously how did this happen?

The tragic crash is not funny. The prank is funny though. I can laugh at a TV station getting duped by such obviously fake names. Whoever perpetrated this prank is a masterful troll. LOL
