Merkel's party took a drubbing, and her days as chancellor are now numbered. All of the major parties in Doucheland were weakened within their strongholds by the insurgency of a populist, far-right organization called Alternative for Doucheland. It is xenophobic, and represents backlash to the refugee policy (which is why Merkel and her party tanked the elections).
