I know how to balance the budget. Eliminate social security and medicare. And keep their taxes in place. Very simple solution.

I don't think you fuckwits have any clue how much a trillion dollars is, or how deep in the red we are! In your fucked up liberal world, we can just "tax the rich" and pay for all this shit.... Forget "taxing it" ...if we took every single penny of wealth the rich control (approximately $1.3 trillion), it would BARELY pay for ONE YEAR of Obama deficits. Then what are you going to do NEXT YEAR?

1.3 trillion is the level of personal income above 1 million dollars or so a year, not "every single penny of wealth" (that would be a 100% asset tax, which would probably take in hundreds of trillions). It would also exclude everything made from capital gains, which is how most wealthy make most of their money (and why the wealthy generally pay a smaller percentage of their income in taxes than the middle class). And again, we hear conservative talking about a mere 1.3 trillion. Jeez, nearly all of our deficit problems gone in one fell swoop? That doesn't sound like much. Hardly makes a dent.
