"Kim Jong-un admits North Korea facing a 'tense' food shortage"

What do they call a North Korean with a dog? A rancher.

We had a North Korean family move in next door. It sacred the hell out of my Boston Terrier.

Here I thought it was Enemy of the state. After all, the state would take the dog, shoot the owner, then give the meat after it spoiled to a party loyalist...

Maybe they have meat there.

Yes. Human meat.

"North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has formally acknowledged that his country is facing food shortages. Addressing a meeting of senior leaders, Mr Kim said: "The people's food situation is now getting tense".

"It is highly unusual for Kim Jong-un to publicly acknowledge a food shortage. But this is a North Korean leader who has already admitted that his economic plan has failed."

A possible opportunity, or, should it just be ignored?

Will Russia and China come to their aid?

I know that John Kerry has been trying to convince Biden that we can't just allow even N. Koreans to starve.

But Biden, is upset that the N. Koreans take their donations of food and only give them to their army and leaders- and the food never gets to the ones that need it the most.

So, Congress and the Administration are not wanting to help them still at this time of dire need.
