Kid Rock Out as Nashville Parade Grand Marshal

Kid Rock is no longer leading Nashville's Christmas parade after calling "The View" host Joy Behar a "b-tch" in a recent FOX interview.

According to Nashville News Channel 5, the parade organizers have decided not to continue with Kid Rock as the grand marshal since the position should "personify the spirit of Nashville." Waffle House hero James Shaw Jr. has been named the new honoree.

Rock's exit comes after the Nashville mayor's office issued a statement saying that Mayor David Briley may skip the parade due to Kid Rock's involvement.

"When you have the grand marshal of what's labeled Nashville's Christmas parade saying hateful things on national television, the mayor obviously does not want to be included in an event with someone like that," spokesman Thomas Mulgrew told the AP.

They're stifling his freedom of speech! Lol but seriously good for Nashville. I don't understand why we'd let a guy from Detroit lead the parade anyway. Plenty of homegrown celebs they could pick from. To represent east Nashville we should get someone that's a pretentious hipster with a 2 ft long beard, and team him up with a basic-ass blonde girl in a sundress and cowboy boots that's out on the town with her girls for a "Nash-bash".
