I listened to one of his rambling questions and answer sessions on the radio this morning and he sounded like he was calling all the shots everywhere in the world, as if no one did anything without consulting him first, even said he talked to Khamenei yesterday, Truth of the matter is all this is occurring with Trump two steps behind

But wait, when it ends, and it will, Trump will take full credit, if war escalates, he’ll say they didn’t listen to him, and when it ends, he’ll claim he ended It, and the same MAGA will swallow it all

Do you know what surrender entails? We have dropped bombs all over the planet and did not demand surrender from any country. You know so little and post so much.

You take the word of others that he thinks they should surrender to the US? He thinks that their unconditional surrender is the first step towards peace, that does not mean he thinks he needs them to surrender to the US, we are not at war with Iran.

Yes, the United States, along with its Allies, did demand unconditional surrender from the Axis powers in World War II.
 
It matters not to whom Iran surrenders but the only combatants that are at war now are Israel and Iran.

They can surrender to Israel, facilitated by President Trump...at the White House.
 
This is hilarious! The Left is upset that Trump might get in a war with Iran. The Left is upset that Trump is trying to get Iran to end their current war with Israel. It's like watching a teenage girl trying to argue with you while she does her nails...

The United States, along with the United Kingdom and China, """demanded""" Japan's unconditional surrender through the Potsdam Declaration in July 1945. This ultimatum stated that failure to surrender would result in "prompt and utter destruction".


We dropped bombs on Japan a month later ....they surrendered

How sad that was. Trump said our airplanes have taken over the skies in Iran. Is that not an act of war? Then he said Tehran should be evacuated. Can you figure out what that meant? A city of 10 million should be evacuated. That is pre-atrocity language. Surrender is the language of war. We attacked Iran ,not a response to an attack, but because Trump wanted to. Taking over a nation's air is an act of war. What would we do if someone did that to us?

No, he said the stuff we made had allowed Israel to have air superiority. He words it poorly, but it was our stuff. "American made awesomeness", or something like that, is how he said it. He's clearly talking about Israel taking air superiority over Iran using the stuff we have "sold" to them (after giving them the money to pay for it).

And yes, I think Trump meant for them to surrender to Israel.

People go back on their word to surrender all the time, so it would be a huge mistake to do it at the White House. Imagine moving a large number of Iranian military officers to the White House to accept their weapons. The number of ways that could go wrong are just painful.

As for any type of surrender, it would require a force of maybe million soldiers on the ground to occupying and police the surrender. This would be four to ten times worse than the Iraq War, and would be unsustainable to Israel.

In short, trump has demanded something that no one wants, because he is a petulant child who will not listen to people who know better than him.
