Il Fatto Quotidiano, an Italian newspaper, reported last week that a drug bust went down at a party at a top priest’s home near Vatican City.
Local law enforcement converged on the apartment in June when nearby neighbors made complaints of suspicious behavior and frequent late-night visitors.
Police were said to arrest the unnamed 50-year-old priest, and took him to the hospital as a result of an over-consumption of drugs.
The priest is said to have served as a secretary to Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio, who is a personal adviser to Pope Francis, and his apartment is said to belong to the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith.
The Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith — sometimes referred to as the Palace of Holy Office — is the branch of the Vatican that hears appeals from clergy and staff accused and found guilty of the sexual abuse of minors.
The newspaper also claimed that the priest in question was put on leave and placed at a convent in Italy, and claimed that the Pope himself was “infuriated” by the news of the orgy and the priest’s subsequent arrest for drugs.
The newspaper claims that Coccopalmerio’s retirement may be sooner rather than later as a result of his aide’s drug-fueled orgy.

You're missing the point. Rune claimed to be an engineer, and to claim that without the requisite license is illegal in most states.
With regard for responsibility, if a bridge or tall building fails lots of people die. An engine on a boat? Call a tug.
Oceans are not states. If a Licensed Marine Engineer is on shore it is generally running very large high pressure steam plants. The last thing any Captain will do is call a tug. That is why he has marine engineers to effect repairs underway.
