Ticket sales at the Kennedy Center have continued to plummet following Donald Trump’s takeover of Washington DC’s premier performing arts venue, with the prestigious Stuttgart Ballet expected to dance next month to houses less than 20% full.

Audiences are “voting with their feet to skip out” on shows that would once have been packed, in protest at the US president inserting himself into the center’s management and operations as its new chairman, amid discussions around the notion of renaming it after Trump, according to an analysis by the Washingtonian magazine.

The Kennedy Center finances itself through ticket sales, donations, and taxpayer grants. The trump center will see a massive decrease in all.

So all the people in the world who get Covid boosters are doing it just to bash Kennedy? Were they doing it even before trump appointed Kennedy?

I would assume that people are mostly getting booster shots because they believe that it will help their health, not out of spite against Kennedy.

Because it has gone from a institution of culture to a pro-wrestling venue. I am not against pro-wrestling, but everything in its place. Why on Earth would I want to spend a couple of thousand dollars and put on a tux to see what trump finds entertaining.
