Well, Trumpsters - your fortunes have changed.

For the VERY FIRST time in this campaign, I heard a spokesman for Trump articulate a real message in an intelligent, coherent fashion. Honestly, I was thinking I just landed on a different planet or something. She is exactly what he needs if he is going to have any chance whatsoever.

Probably the smartest move Trump has ever made. If he wins, they'll look back on her hire as his CM as the turning point.
 
Interesting, because all I hear from lefties is what a misogynist he is.

Also, I don't think anyone can save Trump from himself. He seems incapable of listening to others.

Yes he has. In fact I made a thread about it and why his statement makes him a horrible choice for president.

But as I said in that thread, if he has changed and recanted, then maybe the former statement no longer matters. And him hiring a woman to run his campaign seems to be in the line, wouldn't you say?

It's not that she's a woman. He decided to get rid of everyone who tried to tell him how to win. In politics, as in business, he surrounds himself with 'yes' men/women.

She's been a pollster who has been defending/denying his every word for months. Just the type of person he wants, but not what he needs.

He's also got a Breitbart screwball on board as a propagandist.

If you've been following...the new team is in place because they'll 'let Trump be Trump'. Hard to stay on message, when your only message is 'white people rock'.

I disagree. For a rightie, she's pretty sharp, and she has already made some pretty visible (and effective) changes to his campaign. I mean, she got him to actually express regret. That's Herculean.

And she wasn't a Trump defender until this week. She was actually pretty critical. I saw her on TV the night before she was named to his campaign, and for the first time, she was toeing the line. In retrospect, it was clear that she was in the mode of her new role.
