Roe was based on viability, and since medical science has extended viability, it would make sense to lower it. However, one reason I didn't like Roe was because I don't think the Constitution sets any time limits for such an issue--that is a reason stretch for the court to suggest that is a constitutional issue.

That is true today but not if Roe is overturned.

Most women don't confer with their doctor--they just go to the abortion clinic and have the procedure.

Agreed. I just don't like the "woman and her doctor" description since it seldom involves her doctor. The description is more accurate under Griswold that contraception is a private matter between a woman and her husband.

This is going to create a new industry transporting women to states that allow abortion and clinics along the state lines like casinos are today.

I'm kind of happy this is happening. Let all the kids who refused to vote because 'Bernie', now see that we were serious when we told them that the S.Court is at stake.

They have the rest of their lives to think about what they did.
