Katy Perry’s sexy Geisha AMA performance called racist
Katy Perry opened this year’s American Music Awards on Sunday night with a performance of her song “Unconditionally” — while dressed like a Geisha, wearing a kimono and singing in front of a backdrop that included floating lanterns, cherry blossoms, giants fans and bowing dancers. The performance is being called racist by some media properties and the Twitterverse. Watch the performance and let us know what you think in the comments.
